Each session begins with a conversation about your health history, concerns and goals. From there, the work is guided by what your body is communicating and may include gentle techniques to support relaxation, awareness and function.

I support women experiencing pelvic discomfort, postpartum changes, scar tissue, tension, pain with intimacy, incontinence, prolapse symptoms, a general sense of disconnection from their body and much more. You do not need a diagnosis to book.

Some sessions may include internal pelvic work, but it is never required. Everything is explained beforehand, consent is ongoing and we move at your pace. I do suggest seeing me for belly work prior to any internal work.

There should not be pain, but there most likely will be some discomfort while we work on your body. This is normal!
Our bodies hold on to so much, physically and emotionally - so when we create an environment that feels safe for your body to unwind, there may be moments that do not feel good. We are creating space in your body by working with your fascia and helping your organs to shift into an optimal position. We are also working with scar tissue, adhesion as well as inflammation, listening to your body and allowing her to guide us. If at any point it is too much, we can shift gears and move on to something else - or stop the session entirely.

Yes! Generally, we do not do body work in the first trimester. This is to allow your body to settle into its job for the coming months and gives your body time to create a safe home for your little baby. Into the second trimester body work is encouraged. The techniques I use are to create a more spacious body for your baby to grow and for you to be as comfortable as possible.
If you have a vaginal birth you can receive body work immediately. If you have had a cesarean it is recommended to wait a minimum of 10-12 weeks to allow your body to have a good chance to heal.

Yes! This work is for every woman, and can help with a myriad of issues one may have. Our sessions really focus on bringing balance and connection within your body - bringing you into alignment - home.
Each session is unique and tailored to what your body is in need of at the time.

Yes, absolutely. It is beneficial for your body as long as you are comfortable with it, so am I.

Leading up to your session, it would be really beneficial to do castor oil packing on your belly, this is not a requirement, but is very helpful.
The day of your session please show up with clean skin (no lotions, oils etc). We will be working with castor oil, so if you have an allergy please make me aware ahead of time so I can be prepared.
I require my clients to arrive at their sessions sober so that they can be an active participant of the session - fully in their body and able to consent to the work we will be doing.

Each body is unique and requires different care. This type or care is essential along the womb continuum from youth to end of life.
It is safe to say that 3-6 sessions would be beneficial. Each time we work together we are able to go a little deeper. Each time we work together, a new layer unfolds and we are able to access different parts of your body. How many sessions will depend on your health goals and desires. If you have a lot going on, it likely did not happen over night -this work can initially show a lot of shifts and it is a devotional process of working with your body and tissue to unravel layers of stagnation and dis-ease.

Yes, this work is really gentle but very beneficial for all girls/young women into elderhood.
Sessions are typically shorter because the do not have the same levels of adhesion, scar tissue etc that adults do.
I offer a discounted rate to girls under the age of 18.
I also require a parent to be present the full length of our first session. Follow up sessions are at the discretion of the parent/child whether they remain in attendance.
